readynas shares not visible in windows "save as" dialog

Postby jbrandenburg » Mon Feb 08, 2010 9:56 pm

have started using remote recently. very nice! the only issue i have encountered is trying to save a new file from a remote session.

when i browse "computer" independently (just using explorer) "ReadyNAS Shares" appears under "Network Location" and when opened my shares appear. however, when i select the "ReadyNAS Shares" folder under "Computer" from within a "save as" dialog nothing appears and instead i see "No items match your search."

any tips to get this working?

thanks in advance...

Try mapping a drive letter to \\ReadyNasRemoteIPAddressofNas\sharename

You should see the IP address when you are prompted for credentials to connect to the NAS.
