without resetting the Duo? Anyone? No need to retain data, backed up.

I don't know if there is a way to rebuild the X-RAID array without a factory reset. Why do you not want to use the conventional method?

You can backup the settings, shares, users, etc. if you're concerned about having to reconfigure the unit.

Just curious to know if there is a way around it, pulling the NAS out sticking a pin in the reset hole is kind of unnerving :)

You can also reset it from within Frontview.

Oh really no big deal ... just lost my 100G Music folder after expanding with approved Seaget 1.5T drives :D

The folder simply disappeared, NETGEAR Support case #11291644 is opened for this and I was advised to reset the thing in order not to keep going on when there might be something wrong with the expansion, I sure don't want to loose another 100G data folder again !

It's under System > Update > Factory Default.
